Welcome to the January 2026 Newsletter from Snake River Strings Co., Idaho’s Best Music Lessons three years running!
We’re kicking off this year with our first-ever sibling duo students of the month, our winter practice challenge, and a printable operational calendar!
🌟 Students of the Month: Bowe & Bryce Randall (Rexburg location- piano students) 🌟
We are thrilled to celebrate our first-ever sibling duo as Students of the Month! Bowe (10) and Bryce (7) from our Rexburg location! They bring so much dedication, joy, and hard work to their music.
Bowe is a multi-talented student who juggles sports, piano, choir, scooter riding, and dirtbikes — and rocks his flat-brim hats with pride. Bryce shines with creativity, a love for animals, basketball, and piano, where he practices faithfully and with focus.
These brothers love outdoor adventures and even spend their school breaks helping their dad with excavation work. They know how to work hard and have fun doing it — and it shows in their musical progress every week.
We’re so proud of you, Bowe and Bryce!
2026 printable operations calendar 📅
As we head into the new year, we wanted to share our 2026 Printable Operational Calendar with you!
This calendar outlines important dates such as studio closures, holidays, and special events throughout the year.
Having these dates in advance helps families plan ahead.
(If a lesson falls on a scheduled closure, you are not billed for that lesson.)

Starting January 1, we are challenging students to track practice days to build consistency and musical growth while earning rewards along the way. Find printable challenge sheets below!

Holiday closure reminder! ⛄
All Snake River Strings locations will be closed for the holidays from December 22nd, 2025, to January 3rd, 2026. Please note that your OPUS account will remain accessible during this time, and you will not be scheduled or charged for any lessons during these dates.
We hope you have a joyful, safe, and music-filled holiday season. Can’t wait to see everyone in the new year!
