Welcome to the December 2025 Newsletter from Snake River Strings Co., Idaho’s Best Music Lessons three years running!
We’re wrapping up a fun fall season, celebrating student wins, and gearing up for holiday music all month long.
🌟 Student of the Month: Baylor Weaver (Piano, Pocatello)
We’re thrilled to celebrate Baylor Weaver as our December Student of the Month! ⭐
Baylor was born and raised in Pocatello and is currently a freshman with IDVA. His favorite subjects are science and history, and he loves researching topics on his own in history, science, and technology.
He’s always loved music—ranging from classical and jazz to classic rock and electronic—and is still exploring what career path he’d like to pursue someday. We love Baylor’s curiosity and drive to learn in everything he does.
Fun fact: Every year on his birthday, Baylor makes a brand-new playlist and keeps track of every new song he finds. His current playlist count is 472 songs! 🎧

We love this tradition because students can join from anywhere and share their progress with friends and family near and far.
Fall Hee-Haw recital recap 🤠
A huge thank you to everyone who came out to our Hee Haw Fall Recital! It was such a joy to celebrate our students’ hard work with a little country flair. Our students shined, our families cheered, and the energy in the room was incredible.
We’re so grateful for the support and community you bring to SRSC every single season.🎵
Christmas Caroling at Local Nursing Homes 🎶❤️
SRSC students are invited to play Christmas tunes at local nursing homes throughout December to spread some holiday cheer.

Mountain River Ranch ❄️
We’re thrilled to share that some of our SRSC teachers will be performing at Mountain River Ranch Christmas events this season!
Mountain River Ranch is known for festive holiday shows, sleigh rides, and classic winter Idaho magic. If you’re attending, listen for familiar faces on stage!
Catch Our Teachers with GENTRI — The Gentlemen Trio 🎻🎤
Some of our SRSC teachers will also be performing with GENTRI – The Gentlemen Trio this holiday season!
GENTRI is known for powerful harmonies and cinematic seasonal performances, and we’re honored to have SRSC musicians joining them on stage.

All Snake River Strings locations will be closed for the holidays from December 22nd, 2025, to January 3rd, 2026. Please note that your OPUS account will remain accessible during this time, and you will not be scheduled or charged for any lessons during these dates.
