We have found that people who get to learn the music they love on the ukulele, actually WANT to practice! Playing music with others makes it even funner, that's why we offer group activities along with private lessons in our monthly program.
What does that mean for you? No more headaches and frustrations, and no more crying from your child about how they “HAVE” to practice.
At Snake River Strings Co., our goal is to set students up with an amazing ukulele teacher who will motivate them and build their confidence. We know if we do this, our students are going to love coming to lessons every week (and you’re going to thank us for that).
What will this lesson look like?
Our ukulele teachers will start out by getting to know you and your goals. Whether that’s playing your favorite song, or singing along with youtube. From there our ukulele teachers will set up a clear way to achieve your goals and continue becoming a better musician. During your ukulele lesson a teacher will likely recommend a lesson book.

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES- Our yearly location recitals allow our students to showcase what they learn in lessons and meet other students with similar interests!
CONVENIENCE - Let’s face it. We know you are busy! Our student portal sends automated reminders about lessons, and allows flexibility to self-book makeup lessons if you’ll be gone! We can’t add minutes to your days, but we can work to schedule your whole family within the same time block! We have a comfy lobby, free Wi-Fi, and kids activities.
ONLY PAY FOR THE LESSONS YOU HAVE- It's $35 per weekly thirty-minute lesson billed on the first of each month! For example, a month with 4 weeks would total $140, where a month with fewer weeks would be cheaper than that month. That way, you are getting what you pay for! Multiple lesson/family discounts too. No long term commitment, just month-to-month.
EVERY STUDENT IS UNIQUE - We recognize that every student is different. We celebrate it and encourage it! All of our teachers are well versed in all styles of music and are ready to respond to each student’s individual needs.
