Welcome to the April 2026 Newsletter from Snake River Strings Co., Idaho’s Best Music Lessons three years running!

Spring is almost here, and we have so many exciting things happening across our locations! From celebrating our Student of the Month, our upcoming spring festival competition (registration is now open!!), our first-ever all-teacher showcase on April 4th, and the last month of our fun winter practice challenge!

🌟 Student of the Month: Emerson Nilsson (Ammon)

Emerson Nilsson has loved his experience so far at Snake River Strings. He took drum lessons at a few other locations prior to this, but has really excelled here!  He’s enjoyed playing different styles of music and appreciates his teacher, Casey, with all his encouragement. He also became interested in learning the bass guitar and decided to build one in order to learn how it worked. After completing that build, he decided to build an electric guitar completely from scratch with wood he found in our barn. He enjoyed making the complex pickups and headstock to make it unique and truly his own.

In addition to music, Emerson enjoys blacksmithing, reading, camping, and anything hands-on. He’s the second oldest of five siblings. He is a good help around the farm where we raise miniature donkeys.

This calendar outlines important dates such as studio closures, holidays, and special events throughout the year.
